In order to response to state strategical target of carbon dioxide whose emission achieving historical peak value and balance of industrial and biological emission, and follow up the domestic and aboard high-voltage class vacuum switches tendency in power transmission, Shaanxi Baoguang developed and researched on key technology of 252kV single-break Vacuum Interrupters. The project start-up meeting is launched officially on 4^th, August 2021.

In the meeting the R&D center director introduced the new strategical policy about carbon dioxide emission, the current development situation of 252kV vacuum switches and its important significance. This project is our first breakthrough in high-voltage class technology in power transmission, which will gain international achievements on the technologies such as high voltage breaking, insulation, big current temperature-rise, key material and processing etc.

Vice GM claimed the decision to develop 252kV single-break vacuum interrupter project and its group members as well as their responsibilities. This project is undertaken by BG Doctor Workshop with its subsidiary technical guide and 5 work teams such as design team, processing team, tooling team, test team and material team. The research group consists of more than 10 young technicians and the project leader. This project is not only a technical R&D project but aims to train young technicians, which is a new trial of creative technical research model.

Doctor Feng reported and clarified project target, detail, and its leading time etc. He emphasized the achievements we have gained on voltage from 72.5kV to 126kV in power transmission and analyzed the difficulties of 252kV product. He provided for the initial research idea, related measure and overall project plan.

At last, GM Xie make a final conclusion. We undertake our responsibility as state council own enterprise to solve world class technical difficulties. Hope the project work group will fully realize the significance and difficulties of this project, and take advantage of external and internal resource to complete this heavy task by positive and careful planning. By this, put forward Shaanxi Baoguang technical to a new level and make contribution to State target of carbon dioxide emission achieving peak value and balanced in a period.
